  1. Ok, manager of the firestone said if anyone were to go to school to become a service technician that the area to focus on learning would be air conditioning. They cannot find enough guys to fill the empty slots in their company. He said you would be set for your career.

  2. Ok, Read a question here from a very respected (ok I respect him) friend, I'm going to turn it around a little. Guy's and gals, I want you to really really think long and hard and answer it from the heart. This is a serious question. "What do you do when your spouse doesn't respect your ideas?" Talking points, How do you approach your spouse to talk about how she/he makes you feel without fighting about it? How do you keep from clamming up and just holding it in? Do you just crumb...

  3. ok, so I'm again at a local mcdonalds. The Redbox is broken. It has a sign on it that says "will not accept returns" yet people continually try to return their movies. It's so fun to watch these non-reading people try to put their disks in one way and then the next and then they go to the manager of the mcdonalds and he points out the sign. One kid actually said "Yeah I read the sign but I didn't believe it". (refer to my valley girl comment last night)

  4. Ok, was skeptical but I do like the new Xfactor show. Same premise as American Idol so it's American Idol redux but the twist is they added older than 30 and groups. Same old same ole but the three that they have featured have been really really good.

  5. ok, woman walking 11 miles across a frozen river to a town without snow pants nor snow shoes, her feet are frozen, she's been out for over 5 hours. hmmmmmm makes you wonder why they call them feetsicles

  6. Ok, FACEBOOK Peeps. Need suggestions. Gonna maybe do a roadtrip. Where can I go with the family that we can get to in less than 8 hours of driving and spend a couple of days at. Gotta be good for the kids. Can be north, south, east or West from KC MO. I prefer to do the Captain Ron thing and just start driving, and if I get lost, just pull in somewhere and ask for Directions. But the wife won't go for that. So what's a good place to end up that's good for the family?

  7. OK, I have officially entered into Ole Fuddyduddy status. I have a very hard time hearing the television in the living room, many time my wife tellls me to turn the dang TV down. So I purchased a set of Sennheiser RF headphones that I have currently attached to my television. I can say, I'm hooked. I can hear the TV now, my wife can rest easy with the volume down at a human level and I can also hear my wife when she talks to me. I am completely sold on these headphones.

  8. ok, I'm at the point where I'm about to throw my mothers Kindle(not kindle fire) but her kindle across the room. There's no volume control on it. It's the all black model, it's model number d01400 and was given to her by my brother. It's about 3-4 years old. It has the power control on the bottom of the kindle. The speakers are on the top. There is no volume control anywhere. This is really frustrating. Does anyone have any insights? Or is the volume just blaring or mute? Are those...

  9. Ok, I'm trying to move like Jagger and I just realized I've been doing it all wrong, I've been trying to move like George Jacob Jagger of 31450 North Johnson Street of North Alberquerque New Mexico and not Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones. NO WONDER why I have been having such problems.

  10. Ok, last night was excellent. Dinner at the Melting Pot, then a short walk to the Pandora store for a anniversary present for the wife who said "I didn't bring my bracelet" but I said "I did" and I pulled it out of my pocket and my wife beamed with surprise and she picked out a brand new pandora pendant and then a shorter walk to starbucks for a coffee. Then a short drive to the Nelson Museum to view the new Worlds Fair exhibit and finally a drive to the frozen self serve yogurt store to e...

  11. Ok, question. Can I transpory a fridge on its side for about an hour and a half or does it HAVE to be upright? the entire time. The answer to this question dictates funding issues.

  12. Ok, what runs through the mind of a 55 year old man that even remotely makes him think it's OK to take a young lady from her home, put her in your truck, drive her from her family and then take her across not only one, not two, not three but 6 or even 7 state lines. What makes you think that it's ok to take her away from the home that she lives in? What in your tiny little world makes it OK to take a 13 year old girl at any time? Mr Vallea you are a a FREAKING MORON and a scumbag. It does...

  13. ok, yesterday I thought that a contract was local. The hospital names are very similar and when the boss said "Childrens" I took it as Childrens Mercy. WEll it's actually Children's National in Washington DC. Can't think of a better place to bring my kids up for an educational vacation as well as seeing some of the most famous places in the world. It will all work out and wherever I go is where I go.

  14. OKIE Dokie facebook friends. Today begins the most important day in most peoples lives at least at the supreme court level. The 3 days of arguments over whether parts of the Health Care Law (or Obamacare) is constitutional or not. No matter what your feelings are on the matter, the Supreme court's decision will affect you. Pray for the court to have the wisdom to honor to constitution rather than resort to activist court antics like many courtrooms have done in the past. I'm not sayin...

  15. On a lighter note. I have two syringes of insulin, a tube of toothpaste and 3 chapsticks and I never take them out. I have never been questioned.

  16. On Marh 31 on CBS, A show called The Dove Keepers will be on. This looks like a really good show. It also has the Return of ZEVA DAVID of NCIS fame, or at least the actress who played Zeva from NCIS. Set your DVR's NOW so you don't miss this show.

  19. On the road of experience, I'm trying to find my own way. Sometimes I wish that I could fly away When I think that I'm moving, suddently things stand still I'm afraid 'cause I think they always will And I'm looking for space And to find out who I am And I'm looking to know and understand It's a sweet, sweet dream Sometimes I'm almost there Sometimes I fly like an eagle And sometimes I'm deep in despair All alone in the universe, sometimes that's how it seems I get lost in the sadness and th...

  20. One more clue "its the land where a the word balanced budget has been deemed a four letter word, the leader of one political party has a spray on tan and the leader of the other political party has ears second in size only to a famous baby animated elephant.

  21. One of the greatest men that I have ever known, Rob "Dustdevil" Davis passed away from a horrendous battle with Lou Gehrig's disease. Probably the greatest medic that I have ever had the chance to know. Dust, you will be missed, profoundly.

Island, I'm sorry for your loss. I'm from Stamford and had heard of the guard previously, and was humbled to see them riding in Stamford suppressing those verminous protestors. Stamford EMS' honor guard was in full attendance, of which I soon hope to be a member. At the least I offered salutes to the riders and the procession.

We had a soldier buried a little north of us this summer and the Patriot Guard was there as well because of threats and such. They are an impressive sight thats for sure. Very humbling to see.
