Just Plain Ruff

There was a recent thread about this sort of thing ...

I think it was mine. I got on a canada regional jet into the exitrow. Sat next to a guy as big as me. I have pretty broad shoulders and the width of the seats are 2 inches thinner on the window side.

I travel with a guy who is about 4-6 inches wider than I am. He is absolutely miserable when he flies on these types of jets.

Yeah the seats on those CRJ's aren't meant for various sizes. On a 3 hour flight home from Minneapolis I sat next to a 350lb man who allowed his butt cheek to ooze on over to my chair, while he snored and drooled. Unfortunately it was a full flight and I couldn't be re-seated.
