  1. Yeah I have done some. Your time between accident s can be long so bring your patience. Take your own supplies that you can trust and keep tape and water handy. For adventure races, remember to use your surroundings to your advantage. Read up on some wilderness first aid for slings and stretchers etc. (depending on how exactly remote you'll be) and encourage everyone that goes by you. I ran a marathon a while back and I know first hand how defeated you can feel, up until some perfect starnger cheers you on!
  2. I'm a firefighter / EMT-A. I know some guys who have therir medic number as well and they say while the CPAT is tough, it's manageable with a moderate amount of preparation. (depending on what level you're starting from)
  3. hey. new member here, I'm a firefighter/EMT-A in Edmonton Ab (Canada) and loving it. I've been an EMT for about 6 years now. Just stumbled upon this site and thought I'd join up. Anyone know where I can find some good online ECG info for studying? (Mostly basics to polish up on)
