  1. From a current EMT student: Wouldn't it be better to put her on a board and not need it than the alternative? Especially from a liability standpoint?
  2. I'm getting ready to start at the local community college for a degree in Paramedic Science and the first class is 7 1/2 credits which is basically, EMT-B. The cost for that alone is $689 for the course and about $170 for two books. It then continues as a two-year associate's degree, so probably $4500-6000.
  3. In high school, a classmate downed two bottles of cough syrup. He relayed the sensation of driving down the road at 20 mph but seemed like 80. True or not, the dude was a dumba$$
  4. Just a comment on the resume. My wife has done resumes professionally and it is generally accepted that they should be 1-2 pages. I figure if you have EMS experience and you are applying for a like position, than the employer will have a good idea of what your responsibilties were, in general. Besides, you have the interview to expand anything.
