  1. I am 90% sure I will be there, my agency had a booth there last year, and I think we will again this year. I know we have a team in the JEMS Games....(I was the alternate for the team last year) I will post again when I know more. Frank
  2. Thank you for your statements, I agree totally. Aren't we here to help people?
  3. Wow, I think the interesting part of this is even if it doesn't really get them drunk, there are many other risks associated with this, and could lead to a lot of other dangerous behaviors. I am scared for our children.
  4. Why are they being called "amateurs", for being volunteers? I know plenty of great ALS and BLS volunteers, as well as un-professional paid ALS and BLS providers. Just because they are not being paid for the time that they donate to their communities does note make them any less professional.
  5. We as humans come in all shapes and sizes, and I know several obese medics that do the job just fine. I don't think that being obese makes you seem less professional, but things like a sloppy appearance and not knowing your job as an EMT or Paramedic do. Lets not focus on picking on somebody for weight issues, and continue to work on being recognized as a part of the public health community.
  6. That was priceless...........thanks for putting it so straight forward!!!!!!
  7. Oddly enough, we were talking about this today at work..........it is always a shame when this happens, and there are so many victims that it has an effect on. My thoughts and prayers go out to all who have lost someone.
  8. Yeah, Terri I was there too! No begging took place..........nice try though....lmfao
  9. I was there and saw if for myself, if I hadn't been there, I wouldn't have believed it!!!!
