  2. Why is there always a window above the kitchen sink? So your wife knows when it's time for her to mow the lawn. :bootyshake: *Kevin runs for cover.......................
  3. My experience was similar to that of Dustdevils. 40 something male unrestrained in rollover. Bystander stated he was unconscious for about 4-5 mins prior to my arrival. Presented to me alert to person but not events. Vehicle was on its top with minimal damage, pt on ceiling face down, one leg wrapped around steering column other leg on top of dash. Only visible injuries were minors lacs. to head and left forearm. Pt stated he could not feel his legs and he was unable to identify my touch anywhere on his lower extremities. After extrication priapism was also noted. After following up the next day we were told he had "damage" to L-4 L-5. Hope that helps, 648

  7. Have to agree with Ruff and Terri on this one. Discuss first with the one you are having the issue with, keeping it professional. A pissing contest will get you nowhere. If that fails, then address it with your manager. I recently was sent home after completing only half of a shift because of my partners indiscretions. :x I had talked to her about it one other time but was unable to talk to my manager for fear of making my partner mad  Looking back now I really wished that I had done so. Good luck! I hope this is the type of feedback you were looking for. Take care and be safe 648

  9. I have been watching this thread with great interest! We are currently learning rhythm interpretation in class. We haven't started 12-lead yet, but I can see where it could be a great tool. I love threads that are full of great information such as this one, sometimes I think I learn more on here than in class :? Take care and be safe, 648
  10. Happy EMS Week to all. Thank you for doing what you do. Take care and be safe, 648
  11. Thanks for the link. What an amazing writer! Sorry to hear that he is catching flak for his writings as he seem to be very careful about giving any specific identifiers. I just began my medic education on Monday and I wish I had the smarts to be able to critique myself in a similar manner. Be safe all 648
  12. Hi all. Getting ready to start my medic program and I am looking for additional study guides. I have done many searches on this site, but i am looking for info on software from EMS Solutions called Turbo Medic. Has anyone used or heard of this, if so is it worth the money?
