Rely on your services insurance and lawyers? They are going to do all they can to protect your service even if it means throwing you under the bus. If your service gets sued by your patient you will be sued as well whether you have insurance or not. You may have nothing but if a judgement made against you all future earnings and lottery winnings will see money taken out to pay the judgement. If you own anything liens may be placed. If you check out the insurance it is cheap because very few EMS people are sued successfully. My policy covers my attorney so I do not have to rely on the service attorney who does not have my best interests at heart. $150+- is not much to pay to know my assets will not suffer harm if I am ever sued.

Never took a class there but did take classes with the founder of it when she owned then worked for another site. If you are going to take an online program no one better than Jane at percom as she believes in quality education.

It is easy to make fake websites that seem to support your claims. Oh and if I search the name I might find that name is a producer. But hey there is no way we know that is actually who you are contacting here. So perhaps his method throws up red flags. I hope he is legit. If done right would be neat. But sadly if a producer he will show the single mom looking for a new baby daddy. He will portray the single moms as easy. Why because it sex sells. Yes absolutely you should charge. There are expenses even to volunteer agencies. In fact the person should be paying the lost wages and other expenses of each volunteer. They took off work to save you least you can do is repay them. Plus by billing the SAR can invest in more and better equipment for future rescues. Way to often we here of SAR not having what they need to do the job right so bill the people then buy what you need. It should not be up to each person to buy what they need or for tax payers to support it.
