i work part time for a county ambulance service here in Kansas and i also volunteer for the Girard fire department. i keep a jump kit that includes a adult and pediatric c- collar, BVM, different sizes of OPA's and NPA's, different size bandages and dressings, 1" and 2" tape, INSTA-GLUCOSE, activated charcoal, B/P cuff and stethoscope, pen light, latex XL gloves, sterile water, trauma shears, alcohol preps, smelling salts, pen and paper. i also keep my cell phone on me at all times.

i drive a 1998 ford taurus se. i also have a 2002 dodge grand caravan, which my wife and i had to purchase after we had twin girls. :shock:

the ambulance station that i work for covers allot of area, with towns few and far between. it sometimes is a necessity to call in a med flight, because the patient may get worse before they get better.
