Relocating to the south

Im a paramedic in North Dakota. I have 1 1/2 years experience as a full time NREMT-P/ firefighter (as well as 1 year part time EMT-B/EMT-I work in a differnent city, while going through paramedic training.) Anyways, after graduating, I moved to my hometown, and got into a little bit of trouble with the law ( two contributing tickets). Some of my friends I was partying with wasn't quite 21 yet. I didnt get fired (thank god), but I was wondering if I wanted... could i possibly relocate? Like to Nevada... Or would employers just decide not to hire, because of those two tickets?

We had this kind of issue with one of our employees, he had to go to the state board of EMS with our director to be able to run on the ambulance, he ended up being put on probation as long as he does not get any more run ins with the law, and he has to check in with the state board of EMS once a year.

Hi well I have not been in EMS too long but I don't think because you got into a bit of trouble you should have to worry about relocating....etc...I think when someone is looking for an employee they will not focus on a mistake you made however more on your preformance as an EMT. Well good luck on making your decision.

What kind of tickets? Traffic infractions or actual misdemeanor tickets like for exhibition of speed or reckless driving?

By contributing, he means "Contributing the the delinquency of a minor" or the equivalent in N. Dakota. Essentially he bought booze for an under age and got busted.
