  1. Unless working in a rural setting, with protocals that allow you to give fibrolytic therepy, such as TNKase. Prehospital treatment doesn't change. In my opinion as a paramedic, If the pt. is stable (decent BP,HR, A+O) then yeah, print one off. Inturpretting isn't that important, because the main goal is to cut time down on difinitive treatment for the physician because again, treatment will not change. Time is tissue my friend.
  2. Im a paramedic in North Dakota. I have 1 1/2 years experience as a full time NREMT-P/ firefighter (as well as 1 year part time EMT-B/EMT-I work in a differnent city, while going through paramedic training.) Anyways, after graduating, I moved to my hometown, and got into a little bit of trouble with the law ( two contributing tickets). Some of my friends I was partying with wasn't quite 21 yet. I didnt get fired (thank god), but I was wondering if I wanted... could i possibly relocate? Like to Nevada... Or would employers just decide not to hire, because of those two tickets?
  3. Yeah, I've been working as a Paramedic for about a year now, and I've gotten into plenty of pt. care conflicts with other Paramedics. It just happens. Of course, there is always the select few that a person just cant get along with, but there is one of those everywhere you go. I wouldn't sweat it
