need help on research on volunteers in EMS

Hi everyone,

Iam an EMTB volunteer in New Jersey. Iam studying in a community college ,hopefuly to get into the surgical tech progarm. I am doing a research paper on "Decline of volunteers in EMS." Haven't done a research paper since high school (30yrs). Can anyone suffest whaer I can get info on this topic. I really also appreciate on suggestions for details. Please help.

This very topic has been discussed here on many occasions. I direct you to the forum search for some " opinions " on this topic. Although you most likely won't find any hard facts for your paper, you will find some interesting reading.

Ok, I did a google scholar search and found these results. the bottom three are actual articles but the top one is the main page for the search.

For everyone who is doing research or wanting more information on things such as studies, this is where I always go. They have pages and scholarly articles that main Google doesn't reference.

On the last link, it didnt' show up very well so make sure you cut and paste the entire link to your browser address bar. That link is based on Australia but you could do a contrast between countries.
