True about, the K but dialysis patients are also hyonatremic as well. Calcium chloride and Ca has been used for several years in PEA ( or before that EMD) syndromes. Although, it worked, the side effects was tremendous and no real success was seen over all (patients leaving the hospital).

Again, one needs to really assess the history, the patient in all circumstances.
