Has the bulletin board provider changed their policies, are they tweaking the system, or have the spammers gotten more clever? EMT City Administrator Posted March 8, 2011 Share Posted March 8, 2011 The spam filters used by this software are excellent, but there will always be a way to get around it. There is a surge of spam bots and humans logging in only to post spam. Sometimes we get 30+ new registrations a day that are automatically banned due the the software checking service used. Everyone is doing a great job reporting the spam as it comes in. It's important not to reply to spam with "reported" or "spam" as it just adds more steps for the mods.
