I am currently moving to NYC and i hold an EMT cert from the ugly state of Ohio . I was wondering how the reciprocity works in NY and what is REMAC and do i have to have it to be able to be certified.

Other area of concurn is the fact they state that they need to see if the training is the same or more etc... EMTs iin ohio can intubate so is this somthing NY has as well ?

well thanks to all who read and or reply.

There are plenty of New Yorker's on this site who can help you with your question.

Any chance you could use spell check on your posts? They are a bit hard to read.

Best look at the NYC REMAC (Regional Emergency Medical Advisory Committee), at http://nycremac.com/

Also, look at NYC REMSCO (Regional Emergency Medical Services Council) at http://www.nycremsco.org/
