+medic Posted July 20, 2010 Share Posted July 20, 2010 Fraudulent EMT Certification Growing This sort of thing really makes me mad. Its one thing for an instructor to knowingly take money in exchange for a card but its another for a student to knowingly do the same. I know some of the classes we do seem rather booring but its no excuse not to do them let alone pay someone money just for a card. or cert I know on the job training is normaly the best but the as we all know we have to take the classes put forth by the DOT and State EMS offices. It makes me sick knowing I may work with people that have or had false certs. The public has to have faith in us to do our job and things like this dont help matters if we as a profession are trying to shake off the notion of just being Ambulance Drivers.
