It stores your bookmarks so if you computer crashes, you can restore them. It also works great if you work on more than one computer as you can sync all your bookmarks across all computers. Save a bookmark at work, and it will be put on your laptop at home. You can also access your bookmarks via web browser if you are not at you own computer.
