I'm not sure if all of American states are like this,but here Police and EMS work side by side,mutual relationship. I found this very wierd. FireMedic65 Posted June 16, 2009 Share Posted June 16, 2009 We work very well together. Usually PD is on every EMS call, most of the they are the first ones there. Every cops is at least a first responder, most are EMT's and quite a few are medics.
