Where in the abdomen is the pain (quadrant/s), 1/10 Pain Scale Palpate quads, how does she react, how does it feel? OPQRST Vitals SAMPLE Is she pregnant, history of past pregnancies if applicable? chbare Posted September 1, 2008 Author Share Posted September 1, 2008 Scene appears safe. You enter to find the patient on her way to use the bathroom. She says, "I feel like I have to go." She is a G5P5A0. She states while walking past you, "I can't be pregnant I just had a baby less than a year ago." Reports severe pain that comes and goes. 10/10. Take care, chbare. chbare Posted September 1, 2008 Author Share Posted September 1, 2008 All of her pregnancies were uneventful. Each successive labor and delivery was "faster and easier." Hard to tell if she looks pregnant, she is a large framed person. No real complaints of any ongoing problems. So shes in the bathroom now, anything happening or is she still just sitting there in pain? Current med (prescription, otc, herbal and illicit), med hx. other than pregnancies. What was going on prior to the call to 911? trauma?
