Need info on California suppliers ( L.A. Area)

Hi, My colleague is going to California shortly with a party of Irish Charity cyclists. He will be working as a driver and First Responder. He would like to find a supplier of EMS equipment in the general L.A. Area as they feel that it would be cheaper to get some basic BLS gear over there than to transport it over from Ireland. He would especially like to find a supplier of D size O2 cylinders (full) for potential use (on the Team only). Can anyone out there help?

Rental is probably the way to go. Oxygen cylinders can be rented at a million different places in the LA area. Check the Yellow Pages (business phone book) for "oxygen" or "medical equipment" and just pick a couple closest to you. They have stores across from almost every hospital. If you're a good salesman, you can probably find one who is sympathetic to your charity cause -- and charmed by your Irish accent -- who will give you a few to use for free. Just promise them you'll give them credit with a sign or something.
