CCR vs CPR in Adults

Never heard of that CCR. Is this for lay rescuers, health care providers, or both? Also, where is this being taught?

Actually, the couple studies I've read on this say the opposite. (granted that was several months ago but I don't think anything has come out to disprove it) More telling is that the findings in CCR are part of what drove the recent changes to standard CPR; less focus on ventilations and more focus on circulating the blood effectively. Without checking I don't know if their findings have been published yet, but quite a few services in Arizona have been using this for awhile with a fairly large increase in ROSC.

What we learned actually had some AZ facts in our training.

Survival in AZ with Cardiocerebral Resuscitation (Hosptial Discharge Survival)

between 1997-1999 with CPR 9% Meaning 28 out of 314 Pts walked out of the Hospital after receiving CPR

between 11/03 - 8/06 with CCR 25% Meaning 34 out of 136 Pts walked out of the Hospital after receiving CCR

I know the Number of Pts. isn't the same, But you see what I mean...
