Well it wasn't called Illinois Medical Emergency Response Team when it was formed but due to somebody screwing up the name had to be changed to that.

Below is a link to one of the elite members that went with IMERT to Katrina.

IDPH needs to take back the control over IMERT before something happens and people need help. ICEP is just wasting the taxpayers money just like everything else ran out of Cook county
