  1. You guys are spot on........ As long as the intrevention does not delay the actual transport. Time to the ED does not matter. Most of the Nurses, and such that I have encountered that seem to mind, are burned out, and/or undereducated. It is a shame, but it is time for them to find a new profession. Cheers..... AM571
  2. I have no problem with either show, although I preferred Saved. I just think the acting in Trauma is horrible. If you all want to see a really bad B flick about EMS, go rent "Skid Marks". It is truely horrible. Cheers
  3. cldutcher, Brother head the warnings........ Triple Canopy is a top notch service. However, like previously stated, they pay the going rate to the most qualified. Also, I can personally atest. Not all interactions between Military and Contractors oversee's are good ones. Things happen, people get hurt. Understand what you are getting into. TC has a better reputation than most, but be very cautious. Have you looked into any other agencies? Although they are on the chopping block once again (Black Water). The last time I checked they had a training program for people in your situation (motivation/willingness, but no experience). I would at least consider this as an option. Getting your foot in the door, is always the first step. Good Luck, be safe........and remember to duck. cheers
  4. Send me a PM. I sill answer your questions if you are still asking. I happen to agree with DustDevil. Dr. Bledsoe has done a few articles on this topic, with some staggering numbers. Always makes you wonder......... .
