I work for Brunswick County EMS. We have a really good system here and so do the surrounding counties.

Our sponser hospital is pro-ems thankfully. Any course they offer to their staff is offered to us and vise versa. We have a unit that is stationed in the hospitals location and when some (not all mind you) of us ride that particular truck we hang out at the ER and give them a hand. We make beds up, obtain VS and the like. We bring them food, coffee or whatever they need when we can. Its amazing how much these things alone will nourish a good relationship between the two.

We get them this month. We have been using the BIG in the past. Someone said earlier about the cost "not coming out of the individual providers pocket". I will have to disagree. If you are a tax base fuded system it eventually does come from your pocket.

Hey Done. I'm about 1 1/2 hours from ya in coastal NC. Don't know much about the systems there but we need help here... :wink: Oh and I hope you love heat/humidity...

The main allergies I have seen are PCN, Codeine, Sulfa drugs and ASA.
