i worked in southern calf as an emt and i worked tons of over time and i was still living paycheck to paycheck, and i dont have a wife or child. ems is a great job but most of the time the money isnt there. if you really want to work in the health field just get an AA in nursing. by the way ems and nursing are two completely different things. good luck man

Hello again, i just got in an medic program in central illinois and i really need someones help. I will be starting the program in Sep. and i am looking for a good part time or full time job while in medic school. I would really love to be on an ambulance but i dont want to run general transports all day. I could really use some help and any advise would be great. Thanks
