If you want to intubate become a medic or they need to pay there medics better to keep them. It may sound arrigant but Im a medic and when I wasnt satisfied with want I was allowed to do as an emt I put my dues in and went 18 months of hell in medic school.

We don't even use amber lights we only use red and blue on front of our units. I use to drive truck myself and from experience seeing units with clear lights, they maybe blind you some but they made sure you would slow down and take caution which is one of the reason for emergency lights.
