Thank you for all the replies. Now I have a follow up question just to be sure I'm not wrong on this... So really when we talked about neonatal resus with a compression to ventilation reatio of 3:1 we really mean "newborn" resus since the 3:1 only applies for the first 24 hours of life?

Yes, unless there is a known congenital defect. In the prehospital situation, you are unlikely to know this information.
