The post about the damaged hand reminded me of a comedian I saw once...I'll paraphrase best I can...(I can't remember his name)

He said:

"You know when you wake up in the morning, after sleeping all night on your arm and it's asleep?"

"Well, I woke up one morning and my arm was just dead! I picked it up and dropped it...nothing"

"So I pinched it to see if I could feel anything. I couldn't feel it...so I pinched harder...Still nothing!"

"So I decided to see just how dead it was...and bit it, as hard as I could!"

"That's when my wife woke up screaming!"
