HFiacconi
Hi Everyone My first question: I have been a certified EMT-A in Alberta for just over 3 years, unemployed for the last 2 years due to the recession (I hope)! My husband is originally from Ontario and we were thinking of moving there for a couple years to be with his family. Does anyone have any experience in transferring their Alberta EMT licence to an Ontario PCP Licence? Am I still able to keep my Alberta licence? Does EMT-A to PCP directly transfer or would I require training in Ontario prior to obtaining the licence? Do I have to take a jurisprudence exam? Thank you in advance for the help. Any feedback would be a greatly appreciated! Cheers
rock_shoes
You can definitely hold a license/registration in multiple provinces. I'm registered in Alberta as an EMT-P while working in BC as a licensed ACP/CCP student. Can't help you with the transfer process to Ontario unfortunately.
