Thanks for all the welcomes!! Sorry so long to resoond. I began a new job and Life got busy!!! Class began August 5th. As far as what got me into the field, Im sure it sounds generic, but I'd say it's a calling. I went for my CNA in January and afterwards needed to decide what my next step was. One day, it just kind of hit me. In a job where almost everyone is working tiwards becoming a nurse, that isnt what I wanted my next step to be. I can't tell you how excited I am to become an EMT and eventually a parameduc. Class can be a lot and ut requires a LOT of studying. ..but it will be well wirth it.

Yes! I just passed my exams last month and have my EMT certification! Now to find a job doing it! I'm also doing my prerequisites this year for the paramedic program at HutchCC!
