I bolded the important information to make it easier for those skimming my post. =) Summary of me: I am currently a (21 years old) fourth-year biology student at Western University (London). Grew up highly involved in aquatics (lifeguarding experience). Am not finishing my university degree and looking to apply to paramedic programs in Ontario, Canada. Had a horrible addiction to online computer games (i.e. WoW, LoL, Aion, Starcraft 2), so did not do so hot in the majority of my university career. I am anticipating that I will be asked to be withdrawed from university by the end of this term, but hopefully not! I've always wanted to be a paramedic since high school, but of course, I had to try and satisfy my parents dreams of me becoming a doctor (<- I wonder how much money universities make off of this). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Summary of my education/marks: Highschool (university level): 81 in English, Chemistry and Biology 91 in Physics 95/85/89 in various Maths 91 in Religion Studies (was in Catholic school) University: 60's average throughout my years with multiple failures in electives and sciences. highest marks: 84 in Biology of Fungi (3rd year course), and Plants as a Human Resource (2nd) 74 in Matrix Algebra (2nd), and Ecology (2nd) Some other low 70s and rest 60/50/F ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Colleges programs applied to: Paramedic: Conestoga, Centenniel, Humber, Niagara Pre-Health: Conestoga ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ***I would like to know from your experience whether or not I have a good chance of getting in or not, and any advice to eventually get into paramedic school.*** I would prefer to go to Conestoga college. I am studying for the Humber pre-admissions test (using their recommended study guide). Does anyone know if their test is similar to the SAT/Niagara's pre-admissions test? I have asked admissions from each of the colleges I have applied to (and Durham/Fanshawe/Algonquin). Most of them did not give me clear answers or just re-sent me the copy/paste blurb of admissions requirements, and a couple replied informatively. Thank you for reading!
