just passed my nremt exam

hello all i have finished my emt basic course and tested for the nremt certification 2 weeks after completing the course. i'm in the process of getting the county certification but i've noticed that i see employers requiring a medical exam certification. i've tried a google search on what that is but couldn't really find much info on it. i was wondering where do i get that? thanks all

You need DL-51, Medical Examination Report, from the DMV. here's a copy of it online, however you also need the green "DOT" card that comes with the one from the DMV. You can go to any physician in California to get it filled out, so your primary physician works. Additionally, industrial med clinics will often offer to do the exam for you for a fee.
