Mecklenberg County "MEDIC"

I did some searching about Mecklenberg County MEDIC, and all I could find was a 2 year old post from one person complaining about high call volume and low morale.

My wife has a fantastic job opportunity in Charlotte, and I've heard good things about MEDIC. I'm currently in Paramedic School here in the PNW, and if we decide that the opportunity in Charlotte is a sound decision, my wife will head there while I finish school. Obviously, a good position as a medic with a solid organization is important to me, and will carry some weight on the decision whether or not to make the move.

So, with that background, I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has experience with Mecklenberg County EMS as a Medic.
