I hope it helped others to further their careers and better their situation. I obtained a third service position and couldn't be happier. I am considering furthering my education and am curious about Paramedic to RN Bridge Programs. I will get it started with what little research I have done. This is a tough topic to get solid information from a search engine. Most of the information obtained is sales information from online correspondence programs. I have tried online programs in the past and found that the lack of structure and wait times for final exams are difficult to overcome. I am looking for actual structured programs and NOT self study programs. chbare Posted August 22, 2008 Share Posted August 22, 2008 Good luck. Many programs exist. Some good, others not so good. Research the program in question and talk with the instructors. Try to get a feel for how the program is set up and how well the didactic and clinical experiences are structured. Make sure the program has NLN credentials and be suspicious of programs who spout off about their NCLEX pass rates. Good job recognizing the fact that online programs are not for you. I have seen many a paramedic fall into the pass nursing school fast and easy mentality, only to waste their time and money. Take care, chbare.
