I am an NREMT-I/85 and currently reside in Georgia. I will be moving to New York City in the fall to pursue my education in legal studies. I have my New York State EMT Certification and have placed my name on the database with FDNY, but would like some advice on where to work until FDNY calls. I have 3 years of experience in healthcare as a tech, but no EMT experience, since you must be 21 in Georgia to work on an ambulance and I am only 20. Any advice on my big move to the city and transition would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Does anyone know where I can find live online scanner feeds for FDNY*EMS? I see several websites for FDNY, but can't find any EMS. Thanks.

What does the physical agility test consist of? Also, how hard of a test would you consider it to be. Thanks for your help.
