I forgot to mention one of the biggest problems we had with the autopulse is the constant restarting of it during a cardiac arrest

My service has a Zoll AutoPulse we used it once and how its a 15,000 dollar door stop. It caused more damage to the pt. then normal chest compressions. We hate the AutoPulse and we will never use it again.

In my cell block they call me The WANKER

17 year old male came to the ER with his dad, pt. was chewing on a butane lighter when it exploded in his mouth.V/S are good O2 sats are 99 on room air,poison control was contacted for advice.Pt. was discharged with a minor burn on his toung.

I was forced to attend a CISD'S about 4-6 years ago after a truck load of kids hit a train that left 2 dead and 2 hurting. It was a compleat waste of my time attending a CISD'S it did not help me at all. Then in August of this year we had a plane crash about 6-8 miles north of me that left 15 dead and 2 injuried. CISD'S was to take place the next day but i did not go. My personal thought is CISD'S is good for some people and not worth a damn for others.
