Our textbook is Pre-hospital Emergency Care by Brady and it has everything you need. It explains why you need to do what you are doing, not just how. Very helpful.

As a new student in EMT as well, I appreciate all of the advice given here. I have even made some flash cards, just so that I can understand and try to recall all the important things in each chapter. Good luck everyone.
