well I am not an EMT yet so can't say I use one on the job either. but grew up on a mini-farm so always had one then and don't think I would change that they don't take up much room and would hate to see the day that I needed one and forgot it at home

I have some medical problems that would keep me from working as a EMT full time. But want more training then basic first aid so I was thinking about a First Responder I am not sure if any of you know what Distal Renal Tubular Acidosis is, What it means is my body does not filter the acid from my blood with out the help of medication. and I have had lots of problems with kidney stones we are talking 4 1/2 pounds of them taken out at one time. So my body is not strong enough for full time work as a EMT. I am going to goto college to learn web Design & Devolment, but want some way to help others. almost as a thank you to all the the medical field has done for me and for what God has bought me thou.
