  1. Hey some guy preceptors have a problem with girls doing this job, They look at you and wonder is she going to be able to pick me up and help me if she starts to work here. I know these things coming from experience you don't just have to be slammin on your skills and s/s but you have to be quick witted and go with the flow. I found one station and shift and dug in like being there when they had to be you no change of shift as if I worked there and I had a station duty assisnment for the day and I worked hand in hand with them and it turned out great so try that. Good luck .
  2. Thank you for the invitation name is Stacie have been a medic for 14 years in Florida. I am now a SAHM (stay at home mom) by choice but I still keep my medic license. Thsi is a place filled with alot of info and I think that's great. So Thank you guys for the opportunity to join.
  3. I agree with you very much also when you can't treat a person as if they were you own family and that means even the urban outdoorsman that you run on EVERYDAY then it's time to turn in your stethoscope. Always make each day count and enjoy what you do!
  4. [/font:e5451d0b31] Don't be so down on yourself in all the years I have done ACLS there has never ever been a score underneath where it says Paramedic (believe me I looked) ACLS is one of the biggest things out there for you to learn so just take a step back and breathe don't rush and believe in yourself it has gotten you this far, Right? A 77 isn't bad on paper but I bet you kicked but in the hands on , HUH!!!! You do great working just believe in yourself!!!
