I would love to chat with anyone in my same boat. As the director of the island EMS I am facing some unique challenges and would love some advice.

More like gale force winds, blizzards, fog, ice and freezing spray...45 minutes to the hospital on a clear day after transporting to a mainland ambulance.

Anyone out there work for a small island EMS? It sure offers a variety of challenges...low call volume, lack of support, transportation complications, long ALS times...
