Does anyone have "Winter Tires" on their cars? I just saw a pretty impressive and convincing report on the Weather Channel comparing all weather tires versus Winter Tires and the results were pretty dramatic. Tires considered Winter tires stopped cars equipped with them much quicker than cars equipped with just All weather tires. Thoughts????

Every time someone reposts about facebook charging for the service a poor homeless kid gets a full ride to any University of their choosing.

Feeling down and sad. My family friend of 47 years Judy Mansfield passed away last night from cancer. She was a phenomenal teacher, mother, friend to my parents and all around good woman. Keep her family in your prayers today and in the days ahead.

For all my friends in the KC MO area. Do your childrens doctors have privelidges at Childrens Mercy? What I mean is has your childs doctor ever treated your child when they were admitted at childrens or has it always been a childrens mercy doctor? We are in a battle with our childs doctor's office which may end up with us leaving the practice over some things with them. Any insight is welcome here.

For all of those wondering about my McDonalds postings, Our internet has been out at the house and I had to find a nice place to go do my work for the client since I've been home this week so McDonalds seemed to be the closest place and best place to find free net connection. So keep an eye on my future posts. Our internet provider ATT Uverse has assured us internet and phone and television will be restored by Thursday.
