get 99,000 annual salary now and Nyc Ems was not even considered... I always wondered why you see cops and everyone striking and Ems never seem to go that far..I think that is why we get paid so little.. If we were to strike we might get a raise to... $12 an hour is not cutting it...

All I wanted to know is why Emt's get paid so little, the truth of the matter is, this is not just Cpr training. Everyone knows here that is an emt, knows we are over worked and underpaid. This was a big issue down in wall st. You must admit medics, emt, police officers etc could all be paid a little better. House keepers make more , now is that right? No But what I am trying to figure out is why? This is an issue that alot has brought up, so I am not the first nor the last to ask it. My regrets is asking someone like you to give me more then just a sarcastic opionion. I was looking for more of a quality answer. Thanks for nothing

hEY guys I am new here. I would just like to know why us Emt's get paid so little. Also does anyone here know what places in the bronx are hiring? I would like to get in the hospital setting but this seems to be very difficult. Thanks Jenn
