Although it's technically not a registry state, they'll take your registry, license from your home state, have you fill out an application, they'll make a call to your home state to make sure you're eligible to practice, and you'll have your PA card. When I moved from Arkansas to Pennsylvania, I went to the regional EMS council for my home region and had a card within 20 minutes. Good Luck.

All this animosity stems from "HOSE envy". Sadly its true some people feel woefully under equipped to handle all situations so they choose to canonize the one the have mastered.
