Yes finally done. Passed NR CBT and Skills first attempt and did them back to back days. Just think how opinionated I was as an Intermediate, is this site big enough for me as a Paramedic? <img alt="devilish.gif" />

That is just stupid. Testing needs to be random and often. We are dealing with peoples lives and should be held to a higher standard than most. Not only are we talking abusing illegal, prescription, and alchohol, we are also talking helping catch someone that could be stealing and tampering with the drugs on the ambulance. That is crap that the fire union does not hold its members to a higher standard than Joe Rednecks Broken down ambulance service.

Not so fast crotch, ADA does make exceptions. Certain jobs there is just no way to make allowances. So no real point to argue with you here. ADA does not apply in this case.

Thats a workers comp claim if they can make it stick, so still out of my station. But again there is no way to reasonably accomadate someone that is a danger to their patients. Your primary job desciption is patient care. Now as to people on meds for mental illness such as depression I have worked with some that did their jobs properly and safely. But if they can not function when on their meds out they go, and you will not lose if he claims ADA.
