What level are they looking for? PCP/ACP?

What is involved there.... is it a full interview process or is it just a meet and greet and set up to meet them in AB?

Do they help you with your equiv process between Ontario and AB?

Actually, that's all the info I have. . I'm unsure of what level but I would assume PCP. If they have to come all this way to recruit, I'm sure he'll answer all questions specific to reciprocity and all the other fine print items.

Our service's director sent it to all medics over the network. Pretty cool of him. Hope it works out for those of you interested. Cheers!

Both actually. Preference would be for ACP's. We are actually having a continuous hiring process with the current competition being open until Dec 31st.

I don't know what the process is for out of province applicants and what they are doing about equivalency.

Rates as per the current (under review) collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton. EMT-Ambulance, 36M Salary Grade: 001, $19.31 - $25.543(Hourly). EMT-Paramedic, 36M Salary Grade: 002, $22.988 - $30.125 (Hourly)

Doesn't the top ACP rate in the GTA range from between $33-$38/hour? Who the hell's going to take a $15k-$20k pay cut just to move to Edmonton? I know the housing prices in Toronto are outrageous, but come on...
