Hey all,

The company I work for is sending a team (1 physician, 2 nurses, 2 paramedics) to a drilling site in Chad, Africa for 2013 and was asking me if I was interested. I mentioned I am but I need more information. I was just wondering what sort of questions should I be asking my employer since this would be my first time working overseas for this company. Thanks!

Working conditions, security, equipment/supply availability, expatriate kidnapping likelihood/policy, compensation. That's what immediately springs to mind for me. I'm sure others will have more to add.
