I was talking to someone the other day and they said that their family member had small airway disease. What is this? Is it any relation to COPD? or a synonym for it? I have never heard of it and it was not covered in my respiratory class. Thanks in advance.

Well I used Dr. Google and it came up with COPD for everything. So from what I can figure is that it is a synonym for COPD. Though I am not very positive on it. Like I said I have not heard of it and after I googled it I figured that it woud be best to ask experienced medics.
