Principles for handling MCIs

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for various principles, algorithms og guides for handling Mass Casualty Incidents (MCI). I know that in the UK the CSCATTT-acronym is used as an abc-rule for major incidents.

CSCATTT stands for:

  • Command
  • Safety
  • Communication
  • Triage
  • Treatment
  • Transport

With various sub-points of course.

DO you know of any other concepts for handling MCIs?

Best regards, Carl
