i think this is the worst thing i ve ever seen!

We used this clip- and several others- in our defensive driving class. We have one from our area- an engine crashing into a building and narrowly missing a couple pedestrians. Very sobering. Every rookie needs to see things like this, since when we are new, we simply cannot believe that people don't move out of our way.

Respond to a incident do not react to it. This is what happens when training becomes tedious and responders get tunnel vision on getting to the call and forget about safety. Imagine if one of those vehicles had been a standard sized vehicle. With these driving habits what do you suppose there seat belt policies are?

St Louis FD, and it's old news. I think this made on this site quite some time ago. I do agree that it's truly a failure on their behalf.
