I think as healthcare providers we tend to look back on patients and wonder "Did I do the right thing?"

I think given the scenario, your boss did his job to the best of his ability. Doing nothing would have been potentially worse than doing what he did, which was the right thing in my opinion.

Hindsight is always 20/20.
