Re-write AEMCA if don't work in Ontario?

This question is for medics from Ontario.

A friend told me she heard that if you don't work in Ontario within 5 years of getting your AEMCA that you have to write it again. Does anyone know any truth to this? I always heard that once you got it you had it for good.
